Angela Kolar

Vice President, Operations Services & Chief Risk Officer

Angela Kolar is Colonial Pipeline’s Vice President of Operations Services and Chief Risk Officer. In this role, she focuses on the systematic identification, reduction, and removal of risks from the organization. Appointed to this role in June 2017, she oversees the company’s Enterprise Risk, Safety, Compliance, Asset Integrity, Technical Training, Project Management & Implementation, and Safety Management System functions.

In her previous role as Southeast District Director of Operations, she oversaw operations and maintenance across five states. In 2004, she joined Colonial as Senior Accountant. Between 2007 and 2015, she transitioned through various leadership positions including Director of Organizational Effectiveness, Director of Compliance, Operations Manager, and Business Manager.  Prior to Colonial, she held positions with a public accounting firm and later with a global pharmaceutical company, Pfizer Inc.

In the industry, she is Past-President of the Greater Atlanta Chapter of Women's Energy Network and currently serves on the American Petroleum Institute Pipeline Safety Excellence Sub-Committee.

Angela earned a BA in Accounting from East Tennessee State University and an MBA from Arkansas State University.
